Information for Visitors to the Museum with Free Admission
Free admission time: April 1st -October 31st, 9:00-17:00 (admission stops at 16:00), November 1st-March 31st, 9:30-16:30 (admission stops at 15:30). The museum is closed on Mondays (national holidays excluded) or the day of the New Year’s Eve.
Please queue up at the entrance to accept the security check in an orderly manner and don’t enter the museum without the confirmation of security checker. Anyone who refuses to accept security check is not allowed to enter.
Please put the bags and other items you are carrying on the security inspection equipment for check. Don’t take them into the museum without permission by security worker.
Please put the metal items you are carrying into the basket before accepting security check and take them back after you walk through the metal detector. It is forbidden to carry firearms, ammunition, controlled knives, inflammables, explosives, dangerous goods to enter the museum. Visitors who are found to be carrying such items will be transferred to the public security organ according to relevant state laws and regulations.
Drinks and other liquids with hard and soft packaging you are carrying must go through the security check and only after you try the drink yourself can you take it into the museum.
Smoking, spitting, littering or any other forms of polluting are strictly forbidden within the museum; please keep quiet, no playing and eating are allowed.
Please do not touch the exhibits, showcases or fireman’s switches. No flashlight when taking photos. Please protect the public facilities, flowers, and trees in and out of the museum. If you damage anything, you will have to pay the full price for it.
We offer bag keeping, drink water and regular interpretation, as well as wheelchair and baby carriage free of charge.
We charge for some some services according to the provisions of the documents of relevant price agency, such services include on-demand interpretation, books and souvenirs.
